So we painted the stick and updated it.
By the way, does it remind you of something? Any similarities?

Yeah, my bro definitely looks like the monkey... hehe :)

This is an awesome band I recently discovered. They have very catchy songs and they're simply, adorable. I rarely buy music, but I bought Guster's new album (I like to support bands like this). With the CD there's a lyric book made by an artist who you can see in this music video (old guy, he stands out). Here are the cute lyrics and video to this song! Enjoy!

WISHES! 04/15/2011

Thank you everyone for all of the wishes I've received over the past few years. I will be compiling a book of wishes soon, which anyone will be able to buy. There will be more updates about it soon!
So send in any more wishes you want to be included in the book! There are many I haven't posted on the website yet, so it will be pretty big :)

Love Always,
Molly Cecile

KEEP WISHING!

We can all take a lesson for this amazing person (Pia Toscano)...Everything happens for a reason.

No matter how much of a cliche that is, it is also very true.
I didn't watch American Idol since middle school. One day I was flipping through channels and I heard Pia sing. I was hooked. She's so talented & you can tell how passionate she is. People like her give you hope that this world still needs talent, beauty, and lots of soul.

Though, I've read Anne Frank before, I wanted to try it out again and see how I would interpret it differently. Here are some lovely quotes, I underlined in the book:

"The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely, or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quite alone with the heavens, nature, and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of Nature. As long as this exists , and it certainly will, I know that then there will always be comfort for every sorrow, whatever the circumstances may be. And I firmly believe that nature brings solace in all troubles."

"When I looked outside right into the depth of Nature and God, then I was happy, really happy."

"Riches can all be lost, but that happiness in your own heart can only be veiled, and it will still bring you happiness again, as long as you live. As long as you can look fearlessly up into the heavens, as long as you know that you are pure within, and that you will still find happiness."

"Why should millions be spent daily on the war and yet there's not a penny available for medical services, artists, or for poor people?" (Ah, society sure, hasn't progressed!)

She was a truly fascinating person with an incredible capacity to understand humans, I think. You can see it in her eyes, they're deep-set. A naturally, caring person. I definitely suggest, people to re-read her diary. Lots of students read this in middle school or high school, but it's good to review things you might have missed when you were younger.

New artwork. Working a lot lately & taking beautiful photos, but I MISS the darkroom so much. And I'm becoming a pescatarian, someone who eats fish, but no other meats. Recently watched the documentary, Earthlings. I've seen many films on the topic of food, but Earthlings is what made me take the final decision. I can't look at meat after the documentary and I highly suggest everyone to watch it. If you're an animal-lover it's important.

I discovered that what’s really important for a creator isn’t what we vaguely define as inspiration or even what it is we want to say, recall, regret, or rebel against. No, what’s important is the way we say it. Art is all about craftsmanship. Others can interpret craftsmanship as style if they wish. Style is what unites memory or recollection, ideology, sentiment, nostalgia, presentiment, to the way we express all that. It’s not what we say but how we say it that matters.
-Federico Fellini
