The New Experimental Cinema Club which I'm a part of is having an exhibition today, "Formless in Context." Our show is a collection of art which explores the inner and outer chaos of civilization and the experience of modern living. My new film, "Becoming Woman" is on view. Hope to see a lot of people come out!
It's located at 49 Bogart st. Brooklyn buzzer #17

At MoMa's Education Center on May 22nd from 6:00-7:30 pm.
A student curated show, that I submitted my work to.

After all the hard work and no sleep - everything was a success! Check out the rest of the artwork which is still up at the MoMa until May 15th at this flickr website. The artwork - by myself and Dream consisted of installation art, sculpture, and a sound composition.

I took a sculpture class at MoMa, where I met Dream. We had coffee every Tuesday together and then we started to make wonderful art. Together we're "Cecile & Dream". So come and see what we've done in the area of sculpture, installation art, and vocal art! Enjoy!

Monday, April 20th, From 6-7pm!

My "Cloak of Colors" was exhibited! Exhibition on till May 2nd.

"This is the Cloak of Colors. People wear this beautiful cloak to hide their true identity. It can hide people in many ways, whether someone is dressing in a certain way or surrounding themselves with certain people. This piece represents someone trying to hide behind a cloak. The light brown spots are showing the natural side of the person, but the colors in the corner show the person trying to hide behind the cloak of colors. No matter who you are or what you do or if you’re un-interesting, everyone should come out from behind the cloak of colors and show their true selves."

My brother and I made artwork together and submitted it for Express-Yourself Exhibition. It was a wonderful event and there were so many talented kids there. I also submitted my video, "Stop You Might Get Ink Poisoning," which visitors really seemed to enjoy. Here are some photos from yesterday! Oh and definitely watch the video above!!

My brother's piece  in the red frame. He painted and I sewed them together!

Visitors watching my video!
