Thank you to my best model and niece, Ariela, she completed this interactive installation.

This piece is "Untitled"
The reason some of my art is Untitled is because I like to have people attach their own meanings. Something like this is simple and when everyones ideas come out, they all lead to the same ultimate idea. I think that's beautiful AND therefore, we are all connected.
Humanity: Everyone is unique and beautiful, but ultimately, connected as ONE.

Wall of Wishes

An interactive installation, inspired by the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Gallery visitors write down their wishes on a piece of paper and put them inside the boxes. Each box is individually hand sewn and some boxes are filled with little trinkets.

Kehinde Wiley on TODAY, he’s a great artist and I gave a tour of his work one time as well as a few other contemporary art pieces, and it’s completely true that people look at his work and think ‘WOW’ and they connect to it.

I have built a Wall of Wishes, inspired by the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Come put your wishes inside this interactive installation and look at the beautiful artwork as well as the free food! Continue wishing! I love you all.

Stephanie Sinclair’s photos are frighteningly, beautiful and eye-opening. This photo is from the Self-Immolation: A Cry For Help series and is showing at the Whitney Biennial right now.

On the brighter note, I added more artwork to this site and my flickr & I've been working my butt off for an art show that will take place in April at my school & I will update soon about that!

Go see it! You won't regret it. Smith was inspired by a needlework piece by Prudence Punderson and created an exhibition dealing with the space women found/find to create art and express themselves throughout the span of their lives.

“The day will soon come when we realize that, in spite of the wear and tear of life that bites like acid into our flesh, the very cornerstone of that violent liberation which reaches out for a cleaner life in the heart of the technological age that corrupts our cities is,
LOVE
Only love remains beyond the realm of that which our imagination can grasp, dominating the deepness of the wind, the well full of diamonds, the constructions of the spirit, and the logic of the flesh.

For Love demands the sacrifice of every other value: status, family, and honour. And the failure of Love within the social framework leads to revolt.”

— From the manifesto which goes along with L’Age D’Or by Luis Bunuel
